Christmas Tree Recycling Service Project 2011/12
 
We're all finished recycling trees for the 2011/12 holiday, see you all again next year.

We are collecting on Saturday January 7th and Sunday January 8th, 2012 from 10am until 3pm.
 
If your tree was out but not collected on Saturday December 31st, please send us an email including your address. If you are in our area we will note your address and collect it on Saturday 7th Jan. If you are not in our area we will provide details of the Boy Scout troop collecting in your area. Most other scout troops collected on Saturday January 7th only.
 
You are welcome to also email us anytime with questions at trees@troop557.org on collection days you can also call the Boy Scout Troop 557 Scoutmaster, Paul Andrew, at (425) 954 3557.
 
Boy Scout Troop Curbside Collection
 

Troop 557 collects within a certain geographic area in Redmond, WA. Outside of our area there may be other Scout Troops who will collect your tree. You are welcome to send us an email with yout address and we will put you in contact with the troop who collects your area. We will reply to the emails each evening after work.

 

Trees should be left on the curb by 10am with our flyer attached. If you are in our collection area, you will have either received a flyer which we distributed on Saturday Dec 17th, or a notice from your home owners association with details of our project. The following Homeowners Associations are included:

  • Trilogy
  • Bear Creek
  • Avignon
  • River Trail
  • Meadowview

 

Drop Off Your Tree at Bella Bottega

 

You can also drop off your tree on Saturday 7th January and Sunday 8th January between 9:30am and 3pm at our collection station in the Bella Bottega car park in front of QFC. We will be on the corner of NE 90th Street and 161st Ave NE. Please do not leave trees in the car park if we are not there.

For over 17 years Troop 557 has participated in this scouting service project and fund raiser. Donations received from this fund raiser go towards running our Boy Scout troop for the coming year.
